Happy Monday, Friends!

I have a really fun post to share with you today! This post is a collaboration with Inherit Clothing Company – an online modest clothing boutique for conservative women!

Inheritco sells lots of modest skirts, dresses, tops and more. I was in need of some new skirts and Inhertico sent me three modest skirts so I could share them with you!

Let me just say… I was incredibly pleased with all three skirts – I picked them out myself and the quality and fit surprised me. All three skirts are from the Inherit Originals Collection. It’s obvious that the skirts are well-made and based on the sizing chart, each skirt fit me perfectly and just as I expected.

Read on to hear more about each of these lovely, modest skirts from Inheritco…

My New Skirts from Inherit Clothing Company

One: The Joey Midi Skirt in Navy

Joey Midi Skirt in Navy | Three Modest Skirts from Inherit Clothing Company

This is the most versatile of the three skirts I chose. This is a very comfy denim skirt in navy blue, with a wide (and stretchy) waistband. Honestly, I LOVE the waistband, it’s so forgiving, especially after a big meal! πŸ˜‰

Because this skirt is navy blue, it goes well with many of the tops I already have in my closet. The material is thick so it’s perfect for fall and winter, but breathable enough for the spring and summer months as well. Because this skirt is made primarily out of cotton, it can be dressed up or dressed down depending on the occasion. So far, I’ve worn this skirt out for shopping, out for dinner, and to Wednesday night church. Like I said, it’s very versatile and a perfect “staple piece” for your closest.

(My blouse was a clearance rack find from Kohl’s!)

For Size Reference: I am 5’3″ and the Joey Midi skirt comes well below my knees when standing and still covers my knees while sitting. I’m wearing a size small. There is no slit in this skirt.

Two: Summer Maxi Skirt in Maroon Stripe

This summer maxi skirt is so fun – and very comfortable. I told my husband that I want one of these skirts in every color (there are three!). While this skirt may say “summer maxi,” I have every intention of wearing this skirt during the other three seasons as well. πŸ™‚

I loved pairing this skirt with my thrifted denim shirt (which was great for a cool summer evening but would be perfect in the fall too). The material of this skirt is breathable and soft. The waistband is elastic and very comfortable as well.

For Size Reference: This skirt is a bit long on my 5’3″ self but I’m used to wearing skirts and dresses that fall to the floor – so the length doesn’t bother me at all. I am wearing a size small.

Three: The Remi Midi Skirt in Pink

This pink midi skirt is so feminine – and fun to wear. Unfortunately, I did not realize how hard it would be to match a pink skirt! I finally came up with this outfit using a simple white t-shirt and a floral scarf that was given to me a couple Christmases ago. I’m definitely happy with the final result, although this outfit was a bit out of my comfort zone since I really had to get creative!

I’m looking forward to wearing this skirt again and hopefully finding more ways to style it with different tops and blouses. How would YOU style a pink skirt? I would love to know!

For Size Reference: Once again, I’m 5’3″ and this skirt comes several inches below my knees. This is the 29″ Remi Skirt but it also comes in a shorter, 26″ inch length. I requested a size 6 according to the measurements on the size chart and it fits well. If it were any tighter it would probably be too small. The fit is comfortable to me but there’s not a lot of extra space. There is no slit in this skirt.

Which of these three skirts is your favorite? I would love to hear your answer in the comments! β™₯

  1. I guess I would say the first – so versatile. Of course pink is always a great feminine choice. πŸ™‚ Not really too much a fan of the other one – like the stripes and the very minimal slit if you could even call it that but the top navy part seems like it needs to come up some, like it’s too far down(?)… maybe it’s just me. πŸ™‚

    1. Yes, the first one is definitely versatile!

I know what you mean – that was my tank top, it’s a bit long on me. Although, that doesn’t normally bother me. πŸ™‚

  2. My favorite is the 2nd one. It’s so pretty and modest. You look good in it!πŸ˜ƒβ™₯️β™₯️β™₯οΈπŸ™†πŸ™†πŸ™†

  3. Hi Rebekah,

After looking at your pictures, I was just thinking that your top from your second outfit would go nicely with your pink skirt, and be a fun summer look. And if you had a pink scarf or necklace to wear too, that would be the added touch. πŸ™‚

I think a burgundy top, navy or blue top, brown top or a floral tee, would be pretty with the pink skirt! And a dark forest green also would be lovely!
A leopard print top would be fun! And your top you wore to Niagara falls would look great too!
It’s such a nice color of pink, you can almost treat it like a neutral skirt, and try everything with it!

    I guess I had a lot of ideas! ;D

My favorite outfits were your first and third ones! πŸ™‚

    1. Hi Audra,
Thanks so much for all the suggestions – you’re right the denim top from the second outfit would look nice paired with the pink skirt. I think denim goes well with sooo many different things! I will have to try some of the colors you suggested with the pink skirt. Thank you! β™₯

  4. Ooh, I love Inherit Co so much! I’m wearing one of their skirts at the moment. πŸ˜€ I’ve been seriously considering getting a Remi skirt! I think you could definitely put just a plain white tee, or a light denim shirt, light gray, black, black and white stripes, or tan!

    1. I’m glad you like them too! It’s a really great place to get modest skirts – which can be SO hard to find. And thank you for all the suggestions on what to wear with my pink skirt – I’ll have to give some of those a try!

  5. I’d say the navy skirt is my favorite. I have a similar skirt that I wear all the time. It goes with practically everything! πŸ™‚ (Love the top you paired it with.)

The pink skirt is pretty too. I have a skirt that looks almost exactly like it, but I don’t wear it very often as it’s a little shorter than I like. I would share some ideas of what to pair with the pink skirt, but Audra and Aria have already shared most of my ideas. Since it is a brighter skirt, I would use pink as the accent color & pair it with black, navy, brown, white, or grey. You could also try pairing it with a different shade of pink. I have a striped pink blouse and a floral pink blouse that I wear with my pink skirt sometimes. I think it would look lovely with the top you wore to Niagara Falls. (2 votes for that idea!)

    1. Yes, I love the navy skirt too – it’s so nice to have versatile pieces like that in one’s closet! You girls have a good memory – I had to think hard to remember which top I wore to Niagara Falls! Haha… I remember now. πŸ˜‰ You’re right, that probably would go well. Thank you for your suggestions!

  6. My favorite was the maxi skirt! That was super cute. As for the pink denim skirt, I would probably wear it with a white tee w/black stripes and then put a gray cardigan or a denim jacket with it. Or just a chambray shirt! πŸ™‚

    1. Yes, and the maxi is super comfy too! That’s a great idea – Unfortunately, I don’t think I have a white tee with black stripes! I’ll have to look for one because that would be a good match. Actually… just about any white striped tee would probably look neat with this skirt… Thanks for the idea!

  7. I saw your 2nd outfit in all 3 colors!!!! I love the pink one. Inherit co sounds like a great place for clothes shopping.

  8. I simply love the items that Inheritco offers. The one’s you are wearing are so cute! It is so important to have a boutique that offers fashion and modesty – something a lot of clothing stores don’t offer these days! It is important to me to dress modestly and be pleasing to God.

  9. Thank you, I really appreciate your practical recommendations and styling tips. As someone who values modest fashion, it’s refreshing to discover new options to enhance my wardrobe. Modasty.com has been my go-to for stylish and modest clothing, and I can’t wait to explore their collection of skirts you mentioned. https://modasty.com
