All Scripture is taken from the King James Version.

In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;ย But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.” 1 Timothy 2:9-10

This is an amazing book! It covered some great topics, including why it is important to be modest, what kinds of clothing are modest, and how to fix outfits that are not modest. I agreed with most of the things that Rebekah wrote about. There was one thing that I disagreed with, which is this statement: “We all want to be noticed and loved by someone special. However, we must realize that there is only ONE person that can bestow the proper love and attention that we desire and that is our husband (or future husband).” (page 26) The only One Who give us fulfillment is the Lord. Yes, I understand her point, and that is to not seek attention from men, but I believe that even your husband/future husband will eventually fail you in one way or another. Otherwise, I think I agreed with everything she said. ๐Ÿ™‚ I would highly recommend this book!

I highly recommend this material! It shares a biblical vision about modesty in a soft way, well organised. I appreciate that your husband supported you and he even wrote a little part in the book.
I really liked this little e-book… I like all Rebekah’s lovely work.
I want to share MY opinion about make up… I think God made us perfectly and we do not need it. Cosmetics contain chemicals and slowly damage our skin. I agree with natural products (like honey, fruits, argan oil) who really care for skin and more than this, it enhance a natural a glow and a clean appearance.
If men don’t use make up (and they look fine anyway), why would we do?
Dear ladies, I didn’t mean to offend you with my opinion, I just shared my personal thought. It is your choice wearing make up or not.
    God bless you all! ๐Ÿ˜‡

Hi Rebekah, I enjoyed reading your e book! It has helped me a lot and I’m about to make a big change in my wardrobe.
The big problem with my style of clothing has always been the pants! I was never a fan of cleavage or short skirts, but the pants! That was always hard. So Im making a promise to God to change, im not saying im throwing all my pants away, but I am making a promise not to wear them without something long over it so that you don’t see any forms. That is what I am starting with, I know Jezus will help me so that someday I wont wear any pants anymore! Thank you for these reminders! God bless you!

This book was excellent in presenting the case of Biblical modesty! I’ve been confronted with the ‘legalist’ label before, and for some of my younger sisters, I’ve found that they totally don’t understand or care about modesty, but this book has helped me to verbalize the purpose of modesty. The biggest truth about modesty is that it starts in the heart, but a BIG thank-you to Rebekah for writing this book, I’ve so appreciated this! God Bless!

Rebekah Joy, I stumbled across your ebook not by accident of course, but could not believe that you articulated oh so well what God has placed on my heart especially about wearing pants. Your ebook is excellently written and I pray many women are encouraged to stand firm in their faith and convictions to be the salt and light of the world! May God continue to use you greatly Rebekah Joy. Thank you for your courage and faithfulness in writing it.
