In this post, I’ve compiled over 30 Bible verses for young women from the Old Testament. Not all of these verses are specifically written to women… however, these verses cover different topics that apply to young women. In this list you will find verses about our amazing God, verses on trusting God, waiting on God, and more! It is my hope that you will claim these verses as your own, memorize them, meditate on them and allow the Word of God to work in your heart and life. Each verse is written out (below) in the King James Version of the Bible.

These are really great! 😀 Thanks for sharing them!
🙂 🙂
I love all of these! 2 Chronicles 16:9 is one that I just read the other day, and it really blessed my heart! To think that the Lord actually delights to show himself strong to see who love and seek Him….wow!
I meant to say to “those” who love and seek Him 😉
Actually quite a few of the verses you chose are *special ones* (to me at least 😉)!
Right now I’m studying Psalm 139 and David wrote in such an amazingly personal way that reading slowly through it makes it seem as if WE were saying it for the first time. Just wanted to share so that hopefully someone else is encouraged by this chapter. 🙂
“How precious also are Thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with Thee” (vv. 17-18).
Ahhh I LOVE Lamentations 3:22-25! That is the verse that has brought me back to Christ within the last year of my life.
