Now that summer is finally here, I want to share some of my favorite modest summer dresses from Amazon! Right now, there are a lot of modest dress options that are super cute and affordable. Some of my favorite dresses have come from Amazon, so I am really excited to be sharing these new finds with all of you!
Just remember when shopping on Amazon (or anywhere for that matter) to always read the reviews before you buy! You want to make sure you are buying an item that’s worth the price and will fit you properly. It’s also important to check to return policy just in case the item doesn’t fit.
With that little caveat out of the way, let’s jump in to these modest summer dresses from Amazon!

Floral Short Sleeve Midi Dress
This dress is just too cute and perfect for casual summer days! This midi dress has pockets (aren’t pockets on dresses just the best thing ever?!) 😉 and a cute little tie belt around the waist. This pink/wine color is definitely my favorite but this dress also comes in black, deep blue, khaki, and sky blue.

Striped Midi Dress w/ Belt and Pockets
I absolutely love the classic, nautical style of this dress! It comes in so many different colors, but the light blue and navy blue are definitely my favorites. Every time I see this dress it makes me think of having a picnic by the ocean! The belt is such a cute accent to the dress – and of course, this one has pockets too!
This dress is definitely near the top of my personal favorites! 😉

I love a good maxi dress – don’t you? This pink striped maxi is so cute for summer. They also have a deep blue one that I love as well (I love wearing blue, because I have blue eyes).
One quick tip when buying maxis: because of the cling-y nature of the fabric, be prepared to size up (or wear a sweater) to keep the dress from clinging to each and every line of your bra!

This dress is so elegant… and perfect for Sundays! I love how flattering this dress is, while still being completely modest – it covers the knees, has a full sleeve, and is not too tight around the bust!
I love the classy look of this dress in dark blue, but it also comes in some other gorgeous colors and patterns such as emerald green, burgundy, white, and so many more!

Vintage Midi Dress with 3/4 Sleeve
This dress is so pretty! I rarely go for the “vintage” look, but this is one vintage dress I think I would actually wear (probably with a cami underneath for extra coverage). I love the teal color and the delicate floral design… not to mention the cute belt! This dress would be perfect for cooler summer days (thanks to the quarter-length sleeves).

Are you looking for an “LBD” (little black dress) for an upcoming formal event? This one is perfect! It is so hard to find a nice black dress that is formal, with out being too form-fitting. This one has a really nice full skirt and looks to have enough room all around with out being too snug. Always check the sizing chart so you know what size will fit you best!

Floral Short-Sleeve Maxi Dress
This white floral maxi dress is just beautiful for the summer months! It’s one of those dresses that is super comfortable for a long day and can be worn casually, or dressed up for church. I have a dress very similar to this one, and it’s one of the most comfortable dresses I own!
This dress comes in one other floral style as well as five different solid colors. Just remember you may need to size up with this particular kind of material. 😉

Final Thoughts
Amazon had become a go-to site when looking for modest clothing. Although, just like any online shop, sometimes the items can be hit or miss. For the most part, I am usually happy with the clothing items I find on Amazon. I have not tried the dresses above, but I’m keeping my eye on them for sure. 😉

If I had to choose a favorite based on looks, it would probably be the striped midi dress because I LOVE the nautical look. I also like the floral A-line dress, the LBD, and the vintage midi.
I love wearing the vintage style. It’s feminine and, generally, fairly modest. However, I don’t like the “vintage pin-up” style, because it’s usually not modest and it’s not really vintage accurate.

THANK YOU for this! It’s so tricky trying to find modest dresses sometimes.. so many many of them are far too revealing. I’ve never shopped on Amazon before (not sure it’s as big of a thing here in Australia!) however I shall be trying it now!
